These magazines are often full of diet tips and slimming tricks - and more often than not, they're provided by dieticians and qualified nutritionists. You'll also find a whole range of light recipes with all the instructions you're likely to need and truly stunning visuals. The tabloid press often shows images of stars in swimsuits and gorgeous outfits... and this gives you something to aim for, right? Why not try and look like them? But - be careful not to go too far! You look good as you! And don't forget that most of those photos are touched up with specialised software. It should also be noted that anorexic models represented in some magazines are in no way good examples to follow. But... your favourite singer, actor, TV presenter - who has also gone through similar struggles to you - may be an excellent source of motivation.
